Just to show everyone the difference in size between male and female golden eagles...here is TROOPER ROCCO, the male, and PATCH, the female. As you can see, the male is much smaller only weighing around nine pounds. The female comes in at 13 pounds. These are the two birds just released and shown in the posts below.
